I want one of these things

Man, this looks so awesome:

After next quarter starts, if I can promise myself that I'll actually do some development for it (and not just play SNES ports for a week) I'm so going to buy one.

Also, I'm on facebook now, although I think everyone who reads this blog knows that already. I'm registered as a Northwestern student. If you're not my friend yet, don't be offended (although I can't imagine you would be), I ran out of friend invites.

Also, it looks like I'll be going home on Dec. 11 or 12. Hopefully I'll be at DePauw for the first couple of days.

Finally, would anyone be interested in a New Year's Eve party up in Chicago/Evanston?

It's possible to run out of friend invites?

Sorta. You can run out of pending invites. So, I got on and invited the first ~25 DXs I found. I ran out of pending invites somewhere around the middle of the alphabet. I know that Tyler and Shep were two notables that I didn't get the first time. Hopefully I'll go back tonight and get the rest of DXs.

I didn't read the whole post last time--a new years party in Evanston sounds, in the parlance of our Beefy brother, pretty kickbutt. Hopefully I won't have to be back in Durham by then to get ready for summer job interviews.

I say New Years not at Our Hero's... but around... an eventual base to stumble home to. We've got schubas a block away and depaul just south of me if we want to be with out kind. They aren't really our kind. Sure are fun to stare at though.

Tyler, I knew you would be crushed, buddy.

Seriously, I ran out of invites and you were next and I thought, Oh, Tyler's going to feel bad for being left out.

But your name just wasn't early enough in the list, you big goof!

A new year's spent running amok in chicago's happenin' indie-rock venues or gawking at drunk Catholic girls also sounds kickbutt.
